Razamanaz
By Nazareth
Tabbed by Chris the drummer of Lungfish (Thats why theres nothing fancy)
Rhythm Guitar
Note: I would have tabbed the lead guitar as well, except for the fact that it is all this complicated soloish stuff all through the song. This song is very cool and sounds good without the rhythm guitar in it too. If you really want it, I suggest dedicating a lot of your own time to figuring it out.
For this song you need decent distortion I would put the gain/overdrive or whatever else it is called on your amp at around 5-7 or so. (On an amp that goes up to 10, not like those fancy ones they have in Spinal Tap that go up to 11)
Verse/Intro
Riff A
Play 1x for start of intro. For regular verse replace with Riff B E-------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------- G----------------------------xxxx-5--7------- D-3-5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-5--7------- A-3-5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-3--5------- E-1-3-xxxx--3-1-xxxx--1-3-------------------
Riff B
E-------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------- G---------------------------xxxx-5--7-------- D--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-5--7-------- A--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-3--5-------- E--3-xxxx--3-1-xxxx--1-3---------------------
Riff C This is the one you play after A/B and between Singing E-------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------- G---------------------------xxxx-5--7-------- D--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-5--7----5--- A--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-3--5----5--- E--3-xxxx--3-1-xxxx--1-3-----------------3---
In the verse the guitars play, and then there is a part where the singer and the drummer play without guitars. They are both about equal in length (4 measures in 4/4 time)
The Structure of the verses looks like this:
Intro: Riff A Riff C Rest Riff C Rest Riff C
All other verses: Riff B Riff C Rest Riff C Rest Riff C
Chorus:
I am not quite sure about the chorus the guitar part is very faint so I am not sure whether I am right or wrong. If I am, I would really like to know so I can fix it, so just make a comment saying how it really is. Here it goes:
A--0-0-2-00-0-2-00-0-2-0-3-0-2---------------
It is played fairly fast and is something like that. If this is not right just forget the guitar for the chorus until I can fix this. (It is so faint that at first I thought there was no guitar in the chorus anyways)
Bridge/Drum Solo: Only Drums and Lead Guitar
Guitar solo:
The Rhythm Guitar for the solo is very similar to the Verse
2x E-------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------- G---------------------------xxxx-5--7-------- D--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-5--7----5--- A--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-3--5----5--- E--3-xxxx--3-1-xxxx--1-3-----------------3---
1x E-------------------------------------------- B------------------------xxxx--3--5---------- G--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5-xxxx--3--5---------- D--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5-xxxx--1--3---------- A--3-xxxx--3-1-xxxx--1-3--------------------- E--------------------------------------------
1x E-------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------- G---------------------------xxxx-5--7-------- D--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-5--7----5--- A--5-xxxx--5-3-xxxx--3-5----xxxx-3--5----5--- E--3-xxxx--3-1-xxxx--1-3-----------------3---
2nd Bridge:
E-------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------- G-------------------------------------------- D--5-5--6-6--7-7--8-8--9-9------------------- A--5-5--6-6--7-7--8-8--9-9------------------- E--3-3--4-4--5-5--6-6--7-7-------------------
Outro: Same as Chorus
After reading this through I realized that all my explanations are kind of confusing. All I can suggest is listen to the songs a couple of times yourself and you will understand what goes where.
But for the Order the song goes here is an Idea:
Intro/verse Chorus Verse Chorus Bridge/Drum solo Guitar solo Verse Chorus 2nd Bridge Outro
